- A 500-euro cash surcharge is required for the boat rental, this will be returned at the end of the session provided no breakages.
- Carp Pirates Adventures do not accept liability for any loss or injury during your stay, you should have your own travel insurance and this must also cover insurance for the boat. Many standard travel insurances cover for the use of rental equipment while on holiday.
- The renter is responsible for all damages to the Carp Pirates’ Adventures boat during their rental period, the hirer will be liable for all repair costs incurred due to damage caused during their rental period.
- The Carp Pirates’ Adventures boat has third party liability insurance. In the event of any accident during the renter’s rental period causing damage to third parties/property an excess of 2000 euros is payable by the hirer to the insurance company.
- Carp Pirates Adventures shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss whatsoever including loss of profit.
- Carp Pirates Adventures cannot be held responsible for any disruption to services in the event of an extreme naturally occurring event (such as an earthquake, avalanche or flood) terrorism, acts of third parties or other matters beyond the control of Carp Pirates Adventures.
- In the unlikely situation that the boat has to be taken out of the water Carp Pirates Adventures through accidental damage or loss, we would need to substitute boat hire bookings for bank fishing and we will provide all the equipment in this case and offer a reduced booking for boat fishing at a later date.
- Anyone who is highly intoxicated or under the use of other substances whist on the boat will be removed immediately.
- The renter of the boat must remain on the boat at all times, the boat must never be left unoccupied at any time.
- Only persons named on the rental agreement are allowed to board the boat.
- The person / hirer is to be over 18 years of age, the hirer is responsible for the boat at all times, both parties on the boat must wear a life jacket when navigating at all times.
- The boat must be returned to us clean and in good condition, failure to clean and leave the boat in good condition will result in a fine of 80 euros and possible loss of held surcharge.
- Check out on date of departure no later than 10am.
- Passengers should arrive not before 1pm.
- We do not provide the following, bite alarms, butt grips, swingers/hangers, head torch.
- A good level of fitness is required.
- A good level of carp fishing skills is required.
- No animals allowed on our boats.
- The renter is obliged to respect the rules of river navigation as laid down by the waterway’s authorities and by the rental operator.
- Navigation 2 hours before sunset and during the night is forbidden, daytime navigation only.
- All customers must respect other river users.
- The boat must not pass-through locks without our assistance.
- Anytime the boat needs to be moved we must be notified. (The boat is big and hard to secure so we can help with moving and securing).
- We do not recommend moving more than once in your stay.
- Do not set up where as you can see another carp angler or carp boat, pay other anglers respect.
- If you pass another carp angler slow down and allow space.
- Every renter must be in possession of a valid, in date carte de pêche licence and it’s the renter’s responsibility to purchase this prior to renting the boat. Please print the license out and keep it and hand in case you're checked during your stay.
